The last night in my own bed!! Feeling a little sad but looking forward to the challenge. Just evicted the largest spider in the world from my bedroom he obviously wanted to spend my last night letting me know he was there! Just a taste of things to come in Africa i am sure. I am really writing this last piece before i leave to thank everybody who has helped get this expedition off the ground, you know who you all are, so thank you everyone!
The landy looks like a pregnant blue hippo at the moment but i am sure the engine and chassis will hold out at least till Bromsgrove!!
So this is it the next time you will hear from us we will be on the road. So if you see a large blue land rover hurtling at you on the motorway in the next few days its probably Dan driving!!
